Questions to ask when looking for a quality limousine service:
- Are you fully licensed with PUC and properly insured?
All commercial transportation companies are required to be
licensed with the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).
Every limousine service is required to display
their license number on all advertisements (TCP#). All
limousines with the seating capacity of more than 14
passengers requires a 5 million dollar insurance policy.
- Are your chauffeurs professionally trained and licensed?
Having a good chauffeur makes all the difference in
weather you have a great limousine experience or not.
Chauffeurs also have to have special license requirements
when driving 10 or more passengers.
- Do you guarantee your service in writing with a contract?
Proms all seem to fall on the same
nights creating heavy demand for limousine services.
Unfortunately, there are services that quote you a cheap
rate and take your credit card over the phone. Then when
the demand is there they will book someone else
that will pay a higher rate and not show up for you. It is
important to demand a contract that includes the date,
time, locations and price that was quoted including all
taxes & gratuities.
